"When you know your future, you have a choice: you can decide to change it!" (Minority Report).

If you find your leaf, it means that someone wanted you to know the real reason for the difficulties you encounter today, in order to be able to deal with them more lightly or transcend them. If, thanks to Consciousness, we stop repeating the same mistakes, this would already be a huge result, which would bring us great relief! With a view to personal evolution, the Rishis had no interest in revealing facts that could not be overcome or that were not useful for the development of Consciousness and therefore of the "good" of the person.

"The dimension of the soul is connected to that of the thumb ... How come that the thumb is so unique? It is because of the existence of the Self" (Yoga Vashista)

2,000 years ago, the ancient Rishis had already identified only 108 types of fingerprints for the
entire human race! They had also discovered the relationship between a person's thumbprint and the name that his/her parents choose for him/her at his/her birth. The body then comes into existence assuming a "form" and a "name", and its path can be traced through different manifestations. In India it is also said: "Destiny is in the name!". Retracing these traces backwards, also through the Leaf, means realizing one's own Self.

We want to know the future and the past, but even modern physics is proving that Time is
actually a "continuum" in which Past, Present and Future coexist in every instant. There is only "now!". If we pay attention to it, when are we thinking about the future or the past?... "Now!".
The tree is however always present in the seed, in every instant, as its potential development. The ancient seers could foresee their potential and possible developments in the seeds of Karma. But they also knew that in the present moment everything is possible! The leaves allow us to experience this double opportunity. With the choices of the past we have created our present. But it is with the choices of "now" that we build our future!

"If you run behind happiness, you will get misery. If you run behind Knowledge, happiness will come behind you!"(Sri Sri Ravi Shankar)

It is the "illusion of separation" that generates karma: in fact, it means "action", and it always implies a separate "doer". It is in the game of "free will" that we make evaluations of "convenience" and "gain" based on the "pleasure/displeasure" of the mind, without being aware that every "profit" always creates a "debt", and that the more we create profits, the more we get into debt! Sooner or later we end up having to repay all our debts and restore the imbalance created, to return to Knowledge, but only through the production of so much suffering, for others and for ourselves. In the past we therefore had to learn to grow mainly through painful experiences, learning to accept them, forgive and bless them. And all this is recorded on our Leaf, since these sequences of "cause-effect", still in progress, are certainly predictable. But why don’t we instead choose the knowledge from the start, avoiding this process of suffering?

"Only something limited can be predicted! The Self, the Soul, do not care about destiny,
because they are eternal, while the body, the mind and the ego are predictable, because they are small and limited. But then, what is better: to know destiny or to know the Self?" (Max Ormea)

If it is true that we create karma only because of the illusion of separation, then the opposite is also true: karma can be transcended whenever we eliminate this separation, that is when we "create union"! (Yoga means in fact "to unite"!). By letting go of all our old memories, our old way of perceiving ourselves, while reading the Leaf we can learn to grow in another way: by contemplating the beauty of what we are able to create! Instead of "playing with free will", creating karma in seeking the material happiness of the "mind", we can play to pretend to "act like God", letting our creative "soul" express itself. If we can perceive in our soul even just a very small "divine" spark, then we can begin to create "in His image and likeness" and then contemplate, with joy, the beauty of all that we have created! If we learn to use "desires" to express the gratitude of our "soul" for what we already possess, rather than pursuing what is lacking in our "mind", then we will become un-predictable!

Sooner or later, you will understand, as I have done, that it is one thing to know the right path, another to take it."

The leaves are thousands, but there are billions of people in the world. Among these, only a few choose a path of awareness, and even less, are those who can find their answers. Very few are finally those who, once found these answers, can put them into practice! The wise message of the ancient Rishis on the Leaves of Destiny is reserved for them. As true Masters, they can use the right words not so much to predict a predetermined future, but rather to tell us what we need to hear to let our potential flourish fully and to make sure that we find our way. More than a "prediction", the leaves are therefore like an "awakening"! And since only a limited amount can be predicted, then it is important to know your prediction just to become aware and to find out where and in what area we are limiting ourselves! This is the most important message of the Leaves of Destiny. Who wrote it, certainly did not do it in vain: they certainly knew who would read it!
